Arte, música, acción: la estética pragmatista de Richard Rorty

Resumen

In this article, Rorty’s conception of literature, music and art in general is defended. According to this conception, art is a tool that can provide human wellbeing in both the public and private spheres. This conception is opposed to a formalist position of art, which seeks the universal characteristics of art through a univocal criterion.
