The editorial committee of Anuario de Letras Modernas invites the national and international academic community interested in the fields of English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish Studies to collaborate with papers for the following sections:

 

i. Research articles

This section contains articles on language, literature, criticism, literary theory, traductology, linguistics, and literature teaching. Here, authors discuss issues in the fields of English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish Studies, as well as various academic perspectives and approaches to the literary phenomenon in general.

 

ii. Literary translations

This section contains annotated literary translations that showcase different aspects and approaches to traductology while bettering the understanding of the works they address. In all cases, translators must have a written permit to publish copyrighted material.

 

iii. Reviews

This section includes critical reviews on recent literary texts or theoretical studies that contribute to the research and dissemination of the field of modern literature.

 

Anuario de Letras Modernas accepts texts in English, French, and Spanish. Articles and translations must have between 5000 and 7000 words, including the list of references and any notes. Reviews must have a maximum of 1800 words and include the bibliographical information of the book in question.

 

All submissions that comply with the author guidelines established by the journal will be subjected to a double-blind peer-review process. Anuario de Letras Modernas is a biannual open access publication that accepts text throughout the year. It is published on the first 10 days of May and November. Texts received before May 10th will be considered for publication in the November issue, while contributions received before November 10th will be considered for the May issue of the following year.
