Abstract

Philosophy of the Boundary by Eugenio Trías, rather than suggesting a new “episteme”, constitutes at present, a wide horizon in which the notion of “boundary” is remarked as a figure of the tragic dimension of existence. This book seeks to understand the Being as “boundary”. A Being who finds his roots in the “questioning astonishment”, on one side, and in the “rationale of his freedom” on the other.
