Abstract

This paper highlights how Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez’s cathedra was, and how his works are: a big challenge for aesthetics or the theory of sensibility. The author looks into the relations that her mentor established between aesthetics and knowledge, and between aesthetics and the market. She explains Sánchez Vázquez’s hermeneutics and contributions to the information and reception theories. Finally, she highlights such an unforgettable teacher’s ideal for the socialization of arts.
